Is MODI the BEST PM?

Yes, Modi is currently India’s BEST PM so far, as a young teenager I  agree to this, from the time Modi was elected in 2014, the transformation India had was simply the best, it was really grateful to be experiencing what the new BJP Govt was capable, now it is 2019 (as of writing) Modi has gotten re-elected and the win was so amazing that India Predicted the winner before the elections… The stock market accepted the fact and was functioning like normal, Modi is undoubtedly the best, the new generation is rooting for the Current PM, Modi.

So, coming to what has happened in the last 5 years? That gave me the idea to start writing this article, I would like to thank my College Friends for starting a small debate between, who is best (Congress VS BJP). The debate sparked this idea to write about Modi, the debate, as usual, was settled in a mutual agreement. (read on to find out more on the result of the debate.)

Let’s see the Development which happened in the last term of BJP…

1.    India eventually became richer under the control of Modi, this happened within 2 years after election.

2.    Swacch Bharat, it was unfortunately not that successful because it was highly criticized, hands down by India’s Very own Citizens.

3. Jan Dhan Yojna, 11.5 crore bank accounts were opened, this is currently a WORLD RECORD!!!

4. Make in India, this has been prevailing since we started to fight for independence, while, the emphasis was only given when Modi came into power, before 2014, Indian Industries were not that popular, now it the opposite. Our quality, pricing, and brands are ideally picking up in the world…

5. 2 Surgical Strikes, both were ultimately successful. Done by our one and only BJP.

6. Modi travelled to all corners of the world, people criticized this move by saying, “He became PM to roam the world”, “Our tax money is his travel expense”, While, people were criticizing his actions, our international relations just shot up and most of the countries are on our side. Japan invested $10 Billion, successful relations with Russia.

7. Ease of doing business, India was at 134th place in 2014 while in 2018 we jumped up to the 77th position. Isn’t this great news!!! We can have more companies in India now, immediate increase in Employment which will lead to more consumption and then, increase in GDP. Such a well-planned move.

8. GST – What can I say, this is the second-best thing that happened under Modis’ Reign from 2014-19. This changed the whole working of India, sales did get affected but, like the famous dialogue from Mission Impossible “There cannot be peace without first a great suffering. The greater the suffering, the greater the peace.”

9. Demonetization – Ah! coming to the point, the First Best thing Mr.Modi did.  Whoever argues that, “Demonetization was the Worst Move” …has simply been affected by it, not because they were not prepared, because they had BLACK MONEY or to put it in good terms “UNTAXED INCOME” Karma gets everyone at one point, it was just their day on the 8th November 2016, when the mega event took place!!! Hands down it is simply the best, people who payed lakhs of taxes finally rejoiced to see the Tax Evaders suffer.

10. Statue of Unity is looked upon as a “useless Investment” the majority was against it, did people stop to think that this would just boost the Tourism in India, the facilities present there are good. Our tourism has substantially increased, in 2017 the number of FTA’s was 8.80 Million and in 2018, the number of FTA’s went up to *drumroll please* 10.04 Million

Let’s talk about what went wrong or what failed under Modis’ term…

Every new change will have a positive and a negative impact.

  1. Demonetisation, it had good effects and as well as bad effects, It affected the low income and middle-class people as they could not get their currency changed and most of them were left without any sales. Some lost their jobs for various reasons. India was unable to adapt to the new change very quickly, while within 4-5 months everything was settled.
  2. Loss of jobs, Modi promised to reduce the rate of unemployment, unfortunately, it was not possible up to a certain extent during his 1st term as Prime Minister. The data shows that in 2014 we had an unemployment rate of 2.76% and in 2018 we had reduced to 2.55%. Not a very nice improvement…
  3. Media houses were being raided and the reporters were sacked from their jobs. My view on this is, the media itself is negative energy and it can make or break the reputation of anything. Spreading negative news about parties or anything for that matter is pretty much useless, this is like a punishment for being negative.
  4. Farmers were betrayed, they were simply not given what was promised. We are predominantly an Agricultural economy; the farmers are the main backbone of our economy. I feel, farmer subsidies, freebies are just making people lethargic. We should change dependence on a few things…

I would like to wind up this article here, the negatives are usually a lot no matter how good a person is or how good his party is, Modi is the best no matter what, can’t wait to see what surprises he has got lined up for the next term. Congress Vs BJP is a debate which can never end (We managed to end it, BJP IS THE BEST), If you have any thoughts about the article please leave it down in the comments, it would be helpful for me. Thank You

GST COLLECTION CROSSED 1 LAKH MARK

Arun Jaitley in October said that “GST collections in October have
crossed the ₹1 Lakh Crore mark. This is not the firt time GST
collections has crossedthis mark, Once in April 2018 and then
NOW!!!
When GST was first introduced it was feared by some, hated by
many and loved by few. With the help GST, many people were at
joy and many were angry. So far there have been two revisions of
GST. In my opinion, GST is one of the taxes which is mandatory
and helpful. The overall black money incoming and outgoing is
reduced.
GST is by far one of the best establishment India has recieved.
GST has a long way to go.
According to the recent tweet by Mr.Arun Jaitley, I get a feeling
that there is going to be another revision of GST,India will be
entering a whole new league very soon and we should be grateful
to witness it.
